Nice review. Would be nice to see more Norrona reviews. I think that their clothing offerings are one of the best out there. This Octa jacket is almost 30% lighter than those arcteryx hoodies. It is missing the hood of course but they have a hooded version of this if it is essential. My all time Norrona favorites are Lofoten Goretex Pro hard shell. Lyngen Goretex Pro pants with bib, Lofoten Thermal pro hood and Trollveggen Thermal Pro jacket.

Think I'd take the proton as my Atom lt gets chilly in side winds with its panels.
