Great video. I am 62 years old next week and seems like just a few years ago I used laptops of this era. Those Dell laptops were (and are) good workhouses (which I use at work, and Mac at home). I had a $5000 486 laptop in 1995. What a crazy cost. I am so glad that the younger generation does not have.to pay that kind of money for a laptop. I cannot imagine using an electronic device sold before I was born. What could it be? A transistor radio from 1960?

On that Compaq, you tried almost everything I would have tried. One inexpensive fix that you might attempt is replacing the CMOS battery. Some of those issues you were facing can be the result of a bad CMOS battery.

One of your slightly older videos got recommended to me. Considering the style of your slightly older videos, I have a feeling you were in a certain community of a person I knew at a point in time. It’s not a very big community, and I find people on KZbin of them all the time. Have you been in ew1 or bob pony communities?
