Thanks for posting! Great to remind us what it was like back then. My wife and I had our first date on September 25, 1988, at Knott's! The highlight being a romantic ride through Kingdom of the Dinosaurs...

This is a wonderful video! Unfortunately I wasn’t born until the 2000s, but I would’ve loved to visit this places in the 1980s, it’s crazy to see how much has changed from the 80s to now, even when I visited in December you could still see how much had changed compared to this video

I remember visiting in 1968, I was 6 yrs old, no fence around. We rode the merry go round and went to the candy store.. ate at the chicken restaurant

I was seven years old in 1988 I went to Knotts all the time as a kid in the 80s. I don't remember Knotts having a Sealion and Dolphins show like Sea World I never saw this as a kid

I was 9 yrs old in 1988....The Dolphin show used to be where Coast Rider is now

It was tradition for me to coast from shack to shack, talking to the voices inside, wondering if I was being watched or if the people were real. Then it was off to go on some of the faster rides. Even though we were there to go a bit crazy on field trips or with Family, I always had an appreciation for the scenery, atmosphere and vibes of the Old West section of Knotts. Ghost Town.❤

They dont have the sea lion pool anymore thats for sure and never experienced it either and I went to Knotts many times in the 80s! Never knew they had this attraction there!
