A Visit to Macy's Santaland in New York City | Seeing Santa at America's Largest Department Store

Santa has come to town! Watch CamiCakes as she visits Macy's Santaland Herald Square (America's largest department store) on 34th Street in New York City. This holiday wonderland has been a holiday tradition in New York City for over 150 years. It was also the set of the opening of the classic holiday film Miracle on 34th Street. It is a 13,000 square-foot magical North Pole wonderland with live elves and the famous custom-designed train display from Lionel.
Macy's Herald Square was built in 1902 and spans an entire city block. It became a landmark in 1978 and it was the first building in the world to have a modern-day escalator. You can see CamiCakes in this video as she takes these historic wooden escalators to see Santa on the 8th floor!
