Old Sydney Town in Gosford NSW was closed after a long period of operation. The park recreated Sydney as it was from the start of European settlement in 1788 and depicted Sydney including Sydney cove as it would have looked in about 1810.

I'm actually the actor playing the convict Wilbur Ramsay on this day. I was 18, so this was actually around the year 2000, but thanks so much for uploading. As an actor at OST my picture and videos of me are probably out there somewhere, so it's not often I come by them. It's great to relive these memories. Thanks again.

The park was utter magic. Loved being a child and interacting with the actors playing their roles. So good!

I remember l was working at Narara the Rock concert nearby.l use to go to the tavern at lunchtime and would always come back a hour late half drunk .Loved the place

I loved going there ... I'm so sorry it had to close as we really don't have much nostalgia places to visit in New South Wales ... Shame it was sold to non Australians ...

Back In 1980 i Went to wallsend high school yr10 and visit old Sydney town on a bus trip and were thay made the wood barrels thay sold booz some of us keep barrel maker talking and some went and pinched Alcohol And got smashed those were the days and now one got court 🥳
