I've been watching you, Orion/these last few days/in that deep black sky, your sword pitched low/from your belt, rakishly cast/to one side. I've been wondering, Orion/some three score years since/as a youth who marveled at that/diamond studded strap/ so constant through time/ as we twitch and thrash about/ to live our lives and die, glimpsing occasional mysteries/ that sweep our sky - yes, sweep our sky./ Do you/ too/ have a watchful eye.

Bruce G That’s Beautiful.. The stars can’t see you but the creator of them is silently watching waiting for you to love him, with the freewill that he gives so freely, on which he shall never impose on. We you see a beautiful Painting 🖼 you know there was a Painter 👩‍🎨 When you see his creation you know there was a Creator. Read and understand Jeremiah 29:13 With all your heart, I found him. This is not a belief for me because I actually meet him. This I swear to you

@@YusafAnimations You can actually see 2.5 million years into the past by looking at the M31 galaxy, also known as the Great Andromeda Galaxy. It is the most remote object visible to the naked eye, and can be seen from a site with moderately dark skies, such as practically any rural site on the northern hemisphere. It looks like a faint nebulous patch about the size of the head of your thumb if you hold your arm stretches out as far as you can. Or perhaps slightly smaller, say, the size of the full moon. It is faint enough that it is not conspicuous but you definitely can see it.

We've just found the desert planet, Dune [aka Arrakis], in the Alnilam system on 12:40. Frank Herbert was eerily accurate to depict the existence of such a planet in his Dune series. Although, Herbert's works were fiction I can't help it but to geek out. Still, wouldn't it be cool if it were real? All we need now is to locate Geidi Prime, Kaitain, Salusa Secundus and Ix. In any event, Anton Petrov, I couldn't thank you enough for such informative video. I learned quite a number of things: 1 - One reason why I see 'blinking' stars is perhaps it's not a single star. I could be a binary system with a sister star revolving around it. Hence the 'blinking' effect. 2 - The Orion Belt is not as close as I'd ignorantly imagined. They are indeed light years apart from each other. The reason is because the distance of the Orion Belt from Earth is measured in the Astronomical Unit [AU] of time and not physical distance, per se. Such that, as the name suggest they are light years away from Earth. And the light that we see from them in the night sky was actually the light from millions of years ago.
@mjjjhaney1
@mjjjhaney1 5 жыл бұрын
The blinking that we see, when we look at stars, is usually the atmosphere of Earth interfering with the light from those stars. Think of it like looking at a coin through water, perhaps. Binary systems do, however, have variations in the amount of light that we can detect, also. It's just caused by different factors.

Fun fact: the middle star (Alnilam a.k.a. Epsilon Orionis) is the most powerful star within 2000 light years. It is a true stellar monster, with an estimated luminosity 275-832 thousand times that of the Sun, and an estimated mass 30-64.5 times that of the Sun. It is a blue supergiant that has already evolved to the point where it is now spectral class B0-A9, where it was once almost certainly an O-type star when it was on the main sequence (both Alnitak's and Mintaka's primary components are O-type supergiants).

Very intersting! I knew that constellations didn't line up the way we see them from Earth. Take Ursa Major if you look at it from Earth it looks like a big bear or dipper. If you look at it from a different perspective the stars are 1000 light years away and angled differently looking like something totally distinct.

Our 'yellow dwarf' Sun, is actually white. It only appears yellow or red when viewed through Earth's atmosphere. There are many types of stars, including red dwarfs, blue giants, red giants, et al.

You said that Orion’s Belt was between 800 and 1200 LY from Earth. I’m curious, how far apart are the (three for reference) stars apart from each other relative to the plane we see them on. If they are also 800 to 1200 LY apart, that gives a really good reference to what we are looking at distance wise. I hope that makes sense.
@sneakydoob7170
@sneakydoob7170 2 жыл бұрын
Good question, my guess would be 10/20 LY between them and if they have life on all three points it wouldn't be to hard for them to discover eachother unlike what itl take us. Imagine civilizations that met early and developed together, I bet those are the ones who survive.

They are galactic light houses, clever balance of gravity. The closeness are one star spinning around another spinning around another, on the left and five in a row on the right. All the same sort of star, all in an odd configuration. Their position looks odd because of all the other normal stars. If you want to see the space map for navigating the universe, switch off all the normal stars, and look only at the odd stars. The planets and moons are part of the gravitational balancing act to keep them held in their positions. Like the street furniture that houses traffic lights. Look at the odd stars and see where they lead to. Then make a video, cos that would be super cool.

The method of getting the linear distances of these stars is Spectroscopic Parallax. Which uses the star's absolute brightness, obtained by the star's temperature and color, and compares it to its' apparent brightness. The accuracy is better than you might think as it's been tested locally via observation measurements and just scaled up in astronomy.

I have seen this star system in my mediation and heard saying "you were born here". I thought it was some illusion and to be frank I dint know what was these stars" 3 starts in straight line and start to its left". Today accidentally I came to see this video and shocked after seeing the same stars, but it was inverted initially, then I thought I saw them in inverted position after few minutes you inverted this system and said this is proper view. I am speech less. What is happening I saw so accurately which I didn't know they exist in this universe.
