A visit to Thomasville, Walton and an appearance by the NS 4000

A visit to Thomasville NC and to Mike’s Trains is always fun. As usual a few trains pass by while we are there on the Piedmont division. Amtrak 72 and NS 24X fly by at track speed. We went hunting for the 4000 as it was leading a intermodal train south. We decided on the high bridge at Altavista Va. The light was almost gone so we were lucky to see it. Then a part one of sorts at Walton Va. we spent about a half a day watching trains there. I believe we have 288,276,and 119 in this video.
