This is such a beautiful movie. My 89 year old mother called me yesterday about it, that she'd seen it on the TCT channel. She was married to my dad for 61 years and most of that was sickness and not health. She took care of my dad devotedly the last 12 years of his life, while he battled numerous health issues and was confined to his bed. She would not let him go into a nursing home but chose to care for his every need. She was told by many doctors and nurses that he received the best care possible with her at home. This movie meant so much to her, she was re-living her time with my dad and it confirmed for her that she had done everything right. She shed many tears while watching it and said she LOVED the movie, something she rarely would say about an inanimate thing such as a movie. She could hardly wait to call and tell me about so I found it right away on KZbin to watch for myself. I too have shed many tears as I remember my mom and daddy loving each other so devotedly. They were the only ones for each other and she loved him to his death, kissing him as he passed, and she will love him until she passes into Heaven.

My parents were together for 61 years, too. My mum looked after my dad in the last 3 years of his life. We all went to church apart from him. My father became a Christian believer in the last year of his life on earth. Read the Bible in that period, he read it thoroughly and with faith given to him from above, at the age of 86. He was never able to go to church in that period. He went to Heaven with peace in his heart. We all miss him and my mum has become quite forgetful and she is missing him a lot. God is merciful and His Son Jesus Christ won the battle on the cross. Billy Graham and his ministry are a huge blessing indeed. Amen!

After watching this movie I can honestly say that I had Epilepsy for 35yrs after turning away from it so many times i accepted brain surgery because so many different kinds of medicines had already effected my memory,the doctor told me that the surgery would affect my memory, but i wasn't worried about that,I ended up having 3 brain surgeries,and I never thought it could happen but my memory is twice as bad, but I really Praise God that I made it through the surgeries,I don't know what it is but I still Pray for his Will to be done in me, God bless you all

I try to do things to fill my time and help others. The only thing that helps me is the verse in the Bible that says this life is but a vapor compared to what awaits us in eternity.

My grandma died at the age of 93 and her funeral was a that like a great carnival with her grand children were 45 and still growing. While her great grandchildren were over 35 and still growing. The whole village celebrated her passing for several days of eating and drinking. I was very glad to have seen my cousins whom I havent seen for years.

I will never forget the time I took a long sharp knife way from the father of the woman I worked for as a nanny when I worked and lived In Connecticut. I kindly spoke to him while taking the knife away and put it back in the drawer where we kept the utensils. I could be a was a nanny with him too. I am glad being the simple and sweet and sensitive girl that I was helped and I was worth something and useful for something.
