Hi Jess, I love your wood burner, unfortunately we cannot put one in where we live. Please could you kindly let me know where the fireplace you had in originally is from? Thank you so much xxx

I love fall, and fall decor, u don't have to vomit it in your home, but to me it's perfectly fine to have touches of it throughout your space, to each there own, happy fall🍂

This video is great, no making people feel awful about not going out to spend money on trying to do autumn deco inside or outside 😉. I have a few Halloween items for outside and around my porch which I've picked up on sale over the years and the morning or night before Halloween I put them up then when all the children are finished calling I take them down. Other than that apart from Christmas I never change anything up in my home no seasonal cushions ect. And in the garden I do have autumn plants that come back every year. Don't get me wrong I do love watching videos of people bringing the season things out and shopping for them. I like a lot of people personally don't have the storage or the money to do it. Really think a lot of us will love this video. I love my home the way it is, ( well most of the time ) and love decorating it for Christmas but hate having to put items away to make room for Christmas.

love that! anything that can be reused year on year is great! it also just saves money in the long run too! and I agree with you I love seeing other people style autumnal decor but for my own home I like a more simple look. and also I just want christmas to hurry up haha and I always decorate early!

So with you on not buying autumnal/Halloween tat. I think it is so tacky and I hate the way you see pumpkins everywhere and then being chucked out afterwards. I have seen some cute velvet ones in the shops which look really nice if pumpkins are your thing and at least they can be reused every year like Christmas decorations. I'm not into it, but if I was I would prefer to buy some that could be reused every year. To be honest the way the seasons are running into each other so quickly these past few years, I don't think I'll bother doing any autumn styling as it will be Christmas before I can blink.

Yes that’s so true. Tbh prob one of the reasons I’m not into it is I just want christmas to hurry up 🤣🤣 and it’s a faff having to take down all that styling six weeks later to do christmas styling which you take down six weeks after that!!! Like the idea of velvet reusable pumpkins though!

I totally agree with all your don’ts and do’s, so thank you! If I can add one more don’t - please don’t use a small cushion insert for your cushion cover! Your cushion insert should be one size bigger so it can fluff and to look fabulous. Agh… how many gorgeous covers I have seen that has been ruined by a too small insert! Thank you Jess! 🥰

oh my gosh YES!!! I only just realised this the other day. I swapped out my baggy cushions and replaced them with larger inserts and they've made a huge difference. SUCH a good tip and of course no one really knows to size up because you'd expect the sizing on the cushion insert to match with the cover .great hack!
