Are there any taxis available in Hiji? I’d like to visit Oga farm one of these days. I’m staying in Beppu

Hi there! Yes, there are taxis in Hiji but not as many as in Beppu. I’m not sure if there are taxis near Oga Farm though.

It’s quite far from Hiji Station. As far as I can remember, about 2 hours walk going there and another 2 hours going back.

@@jibanyanwanders oh my! Is there any way I can rent a car with a driver tho? I can drive but I’m not sure it’s safe since Japan cars are different from our country. The steering wheel is at the left, while in Japan it’s at the right.

@nizestuff sorry I have no idea about that. but maybe you can call a taxi driver to take you there, and pick you up. I haven’t tried but you can inquire from Hiji Taxis or Iwao Taxi.
