Visited here on my 2019 US trip with my Dad, and it was such a breath of fresh air compared to the malls in Puerto Rico. A Barns & Noble AND BAM? Why those aren't brought here is insane.

Lord & Taylor, Sears, LL Bean, Starbucks w/ outdoor seating are all sorely missed. This mall is doing better than most, but still a shadow of its former self.

It's good to see a thriving mall with so many going under. Where I live we still have a thriving mall as well, but several others in my area have been torn down. It's like a piece of my childhood went with them.

It’s even better than I remembered! I grew up in Maryland and that was the only place with a Great American Cookies around.

Awesome video. I grew up 30 minutes away from the mall and honestly miss Maryland a ton.

Nice mall, I prefer the indoor area.

Same. I prefer indoor areas to open-air areas in general, but especially here.

This is the best mall of Maryland there ever was than the Valley Mall or the Francis Scott Key Mall.

I live near the Mall and never go there. It's a thin and sad shadow of its former self. 😢

I missed seeing L.L.Bean in this Yt video. .. . The newest part of the mall.

I worked in the DC area on a contract job for about 18 months. What I saw of Maryland I wasn’t particularly impressed. The slums of Maryland around DC seem to be spreading south. I wouldn’t advise moving there. Btw, I never liked the white painted steel girder ceiling look. It was a fad in the 90s that didn’t last and now looks ugly and unpleasant. If you want to see what a beautiful mall looks like check out Woodfield mall in Illinois and the American Dream mall in New Jersey. I won’t say Mall of America in Minnesota even though it is the largest mall in America because it has that ugly steel girder warehouse looking ceiling like this mall does.

This mall actually uses a spaceframe ceiling, which is a little different from the ugly steel girder warehouse look. As for the area, Central Maryland as a whole is pretty nice. The inner DC suburbs in Maryland, as well as Northern Virginia, aren't very good areas.
