Great video. We used to go to the nature reserve a lot as kids, when it was a free attraction and walking some of the parts you walked in this. Brings back memories. Cheers bud

The bricks and rocks you saw are on the coach road which took you to Ellowes Hall. Check out the Friends of Cotwall End who would be happy to meet you for your second visit.

Luck enough to live on the doorstep. Regular dog walks. The most interesting bit for me is the where you can detect the boundary between the grounds of what was Ellowes Hall and the mines and quarries.

The brick looks like it says premier made by glenfield in Leicester between 1898 and 1932
