This relaxed music, mood with just the sound of the water lapping up against the dock, always reminds of Ryo finishing work after another long day of lifting boxes. I like how you see the ship we arrived on in harbour here just like we did at New Yokosuka, gives you a little reminder of home 😄

Because of you I started up my Shenmue adventures again on PS5. While I'd rather play on original dreamcast hardware, it at least runs well! Regardless, the world of Shenmue is breath taking. I find myself walking around Dobutia at night time just enjoy the lighting effects and the moon light coming down. I should be getting home to carry on with my stupid Forklift job, but at the end of the day, I just want to walk around and enjoy the scenery! Watching you post Shenmue 2 video's (OH I NOTICE!) just makes me want to explore Hong Kong even more now! Is the Dreamcast your favourite version to play? There is something about the colours and the vibrancy that really makes that version pop the most. Yes, there is a lot of frame drops in the OG version, but I personally feel the trade off is more than worth it.

To answer your question yes I prefer playing the original Dreamcast version 👍 A lot of people have said I can just play the HD remastered versions and sure that would help with quality and make playing in widescreen easier and look better than what I'm doing. But..for me I want that nostalgia. I want to feel like I'm back in my room. Enjoying sometime with Nozomi on the park bench for just a little while 😄 Also I like how minimalistic the original was. All you see is the compass. Nothing else unless you get close to someone/something and then the letter "A" pops up. But otherwise it's just the world and that's what I want to highlight the most. Glad to have you here and glad to know the work I do when I can is being enjoyed 😊
