That is a very interesting idea, I would never have thought to reuse asphalt this way, but I suppose why not? Man made paving stones!

the end result was great. I've never seen anything like this. (I did the excavator work, the other workers did the manual installation work)

Great to see a start to finish phase of the work. The reuse asphalt slabs is new to me, but reminiscent of what was called crazy paving in the UK. It was popular 50+ years ago, but is v rare new now. Using irregular stone slabs originally and later broken concrete slabs.

you're welcome! I only did the excavator work. I didn't manage to do the puzzle, I think it was quite heavy 😅
