Flash 800 is like a greatest hits playlist Adams story is a great way to bookend the run, although I am sad that we won't see more Adams Wally stories It's always great to have Waid back for Impulse, With Todd Nauck Who captures the Same spirit of Bart that he did in Young Justice in the early 00s Williamson did some patchwork for Barry, Finally establishing that Barry cares about his kids in the 30th century Geoff Johns did a great job this time, Especially since he's Paired with Kolins again, the Duo always create some sort of Magic when they work together on The Flash I'm conflicted about Spurrier though, I don't think The Flash suits Cosmic Horror, it feels like it'd work better for Green Lantern. I don't think Spurrier has a great handle on Wallys voice (when I read it, I slipped into my Barry voice which didn't help). I also don't like the troubled dynamic of Wally and Linda, just feels like Forced Drama. As for Deodatos art, I would like it, but the panel layout is too distracting, there are like 5 Panel Dividers for single images, often cutting on Wally himself, so I can't appreciate the artwork. I hope we get improvements on some of this in September

I agree 100%. I love this book for the most part but I am concerned about how Spurrier is going to handle Wally and Linda's marriage because writers seem to love shaking up marriages for artificial drama and I think Wally and Linda are past that kind of drama. I think horror can work for the Flash but it has to come from his wheelhouse. Putting him directly against Cthulu in space wouldn't work well but if its something like say Voidsong where the threats eats speed then you have a story. I'm not writing him off but I am going into his run with caution.

I very much loved this book. Just having all the greats that wrote Wally before was such a treat for fans.

You can never go wrong with a Flash greatest writers book. So many good things in this one issue.
