Well, I have been podcasting for almost a year and a half so maybe I am not that experienced yet. lol . For me posting every week would be too much as I work full time. When I retire I hope to post more regularly and maybe twice a month. What I notice and hear is that it is important to be consistent with your style and presentation. And to do what feels right for you. If we can't be ourselves it would be exhausting to constantly try to be something else. I always enjoy hearing about people's unique experiences with both knitting and where they live and buy yarn. I hope that is helpful. ☺

@druidsongevergreens4 ай бұрын
To manage moths you can lay dried bay leaves throughout the yarn storage shelves or cupboard. I also keep mine in a cedar trunk, which is another deterrent. And finally, wipe corner if any moths show up, and don't be afraid to toss 1-2 skeins out in the compost if they brought moths home, to save the rest of your stash. Some people also use the freezer but I'm not usually willing to risk my whole stash for a skein or two. The bay leaves have worked so far.

Good Morning Anna-Sofia, I loved your new KZbin! Your knitting while exquisite, also retains a certain rustic approach which I don't see in many other knitters. Maybe that has to do with using Lopi yarn? I have noticed it once b4 in garments done by KZbinr 'Finish Knitting Stories' by Jana. It is LOVELY! Your color profile in the Icelandic style sweater with coral highlights going into your book has a country feel but is flawlessly wonderful, like a work of art. I can only dream of knitting something so compelling!!!!! Is your book that you are authoring coming out soon? Will it be in English? I will definitely purchase it if it is in English. Please let us subscribers know more about you, where you are vlog-casting from, how you got your knitting start and what inspired you to become the knitter you are today. You little one is so sweet, I loved his gray knitted jacket you had on him as he ran down the country path. Undoubtedly you knit that for him. Anyhow I look forward to your next episode and many more to come! Knitting hugs, Carrie from Northern San Francisco Bay Area 😘❤🐕🐑🌹☕🧵🪡🧶
@Loparefur6 ай бұрын
Good morning, Carrie! 😄 I'm glad to hear that! I do indeed think it is the Lettlopi. But generally, I like yarns that are somewhat rustic and have that "old" look. I also mainly, or almost exclusively, use 100% wool yarn, and it is my dream to have sheep one day (hopefully soon). I have not heard of that KZbinr (and honestly, I have not been on KZbin much at all). My new book is coming out this fall, and it is called "Knit Wild." I am publishing with Rowman & Littlefield/ Stackpole Books, and you can already preorder the book on Amazon and at all US/Canada bookstores (Barnes, etc.). Thank you for the points I can use for the upcoming videos! It's good to know what the audience would like to see! Little Waya is wearing his Warg Sweater, by the way. 😄

I'm over hearing patreon by podcasters who ask for money. Maybe its like busking. KZbin podcasting is advertising for patreon for extra paid content? What is the extra paid for content?
@Loparefur6 ай бұрын
Yes Patreon. I just created mine so I am still very new to it. So in my case the extra content I provide is for examples Patterns which are only available over the Patreon page, I share written blog posts as well as insides and more details on WIPS for example, sneakpeaks, I will call for testknitters there first and I am thinking also about giving early acces to new Patterns ( I have not technically fugured out how to do that) . I do a personal Q & A. Those are just a few examples. I just started with it so it will grown and envolve over the upcoming month. It is really a lot of work WE LOVE to do as Designer and if i could I would provide all my knowledge and Pattern and everything for free but in reality I have bills to pay, a son to take care of so I this way it is a ,,win win,, situation as both side - sucribers and the designer get something out of it :-D What I personally additionally like it that it is also private, some content I just dont want to share super puplic or actually can not. For example I do need Testknitters for the Designs coming out in my upcoming books. Right now all the Testers are people I know very closly and I know they will not share the Designs with others before they have been released. On Pateron I am able to show more of Designs like that.
