Thank you for this video sir. For real, from the bottom of the heart, I am very grateful to hear all these things from you, especially from another man. This is pure education for so many of us. I am turning 50 in less than a month, no kids, never married. Everything you said here is exactly what I have wanted to hear from someone else for a very long time. I was born in and have lived in Los Angeles all of my life. As you were talking throughout this video and describing these various scenarios about dating in America, I was almost having full blown flashback memories of the same exact things/encounters I had over decades that you were talking about. It was as if you described everything I have experienced both directly and indirectly for decades like you were invisible watching these miseries taking place in my history. Dating in Los Angeles most seem to agree is not just way more difficult than most other major cities, but pure misery because of Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Bel Air and the whole entertainment industry producing this incessant desire for people, especially whamen to want this fairy tale lifestyle... and get it through dating and/or marriage. 95% of the men here can't provide this even if they tried, tried for years, and with help and whamen know this and will avoid you like the plague, play you like a fool for what resources you will cough up, and all the while again, she is working with others. Most of the entire feemail population is after the top 10% and/or using regular dudes while they are working to finding their way into the door of an A Lister or someone similar. People will notice many of the words in my comment here are misspelled. That is not done to be humorous. You Tube/Google apparently has this ultra high tech way of deleting comments that have even the slightest of contempt of generalizations. No man can build a life with another human being who has this much delusion, narcissism, ego, and indifference to the other half of the partnership. Even doctors and attorneys have commented on this several times. I had one in a gym back in the late 90's tell me, and I can still see his face talking to me as if I was his friend and he was truly trying to save me from the western feemail's double standards miseries in the USA. "Go to Latin America, they're not corrupted there and seem to have an inherent understanding that a romantic relationship is more than just "romance," They understand it is about duties and partnership." Honest to God I do not know what to do. In fact I have to stay away from many coworkers, friends, and extended family get togethers because of the guilt and ridicule about not being married and no kids. Sorry ramble sir, for real. Just your commentary here was so deeply truthful and is going to be very helpful and educational to many men. All of you out there, God bless and all the happiness to you in this whole finding love and building a life with someone thing.

I'm a Filipino. My advise to foreigners who are new to the Philippines, don't enter in a relationship with a Filipina, take your time, enjoy life here. The sooner you adjust to the culture, the better you'll understand a Filipina. The moment money becomes an issue with a Filipina, it's time to run as far as you can. Angeles city is not a place to look for a Filipina to have a serious relationship with. It's better to look for a Filipina who's earning enough money for herself and her dependents (parents and minor siblings).

The Philippines is a wonderful country to call home but it's not for everyone. IMHO if you think it may be a possible retirement location study the country and plan a few week vacation here to travel to the spots you think may suite you. Return home to your country and let the trip sink in for a few weeks before you decide anything. If you decide to retire here come with lowered expectations and do not force anything when you arrive especially relationships. Take the first year to get your visa sorted, get transportation and learn about the Island you are on. Find all the places that interest you and learn about life here. No matter what it takes 12-16 months to fully understand the culture here and how you fit in. Go slow with all relationships even fellow expats who appear to be like minded. You will most likely move a few times in your first few years looking for that quiet comfortable place and your first girl here will most likely not be the one you settle with. The guys I see who struggle here go way too fast with everything, slow down and enjoy the journey. It will all happen in time, trust me.

Good list. Dating in the US for guys 45+ is dismal. Women over 40 are far more mercenary than Filipinas. If they're in the dating pool they're either single moms who are after a guy who's in the daddy business, or women who only want a guy who will help their financial situation. If you don't make more money than she does, get lost! Rich guys can get a trophy wife/girlfriend but she'll probably be doing the pool guy or her personal trainer. The virus only made the isolation worse. My first trip to the Philippines was in 2007 when I was 48 and I've never been the same. Now I'm retired and getting things wrapped up over here. Then the adventure starts!
@SamBickle13311 ай бұрын
The cost-benefit ratio is catastrophic in westen countries. Women over 40 have the same or even higher financial demands as younger women, even if they earn well themselves. They want you to make their life more comfortable, but all they offer in return is being overweight and no longer interested in sex

I remember a few years back being in a business suit & tie & searching for a nearby restaurant. The GPS had gotten me close but I couldn't see it. I parked my car and asked an unattractive lady in the mall parking lot if she knew the location. She looked at me like a mass murderer and scurried into the mall without saying a word. Point 7 should be "Move to a country where the women are still traditionally minded and their family court cannot be used by a woman to rob you." The Philippines is just one of several choices. And if they ever legalize divorce in the Philippines then it won't be a potential destination because women not being able to legally rob you is one of the main attraction of the Philippines. (Women scam men left and right in the Philippines, but that's a choice on the part of those men, to give money to those women.)

Don't have a TV, no interest in political wars (used to be), no Facebook, never carry my phone. I am planning a move to SE Asia next year and was initially excited to meet a great woman, but have realized they're still women. I like my freedom. I assume I will likely end up with a woman, but maybe not. For sure it will be on my terms because it's a push for me whether I'm in a relationship or not. I have many interests like painting, writing software, bird watching, hiking, exploring, gardening which I'll like doing in SE Asia. I do want to setup for long term care should I ever need that. Honestly, I feel isolated in the US. But you're correct, nobody cares even if you care about others there is no reciprocity especially if you don''t drink or party.

The world has changed. In my late 50s, I look at the glass half full. SE Asia is much more accessible thanks to phones, especially gps and youtube. I moved to Thailand (b4 eventually returning to the USA) in 2004 and you were at your gf or locals’ mercy. Phones have created such an opportunity for men our age in se Asia. Without technology se Asia is a lot less fun.

I think you are excluding too much audience. The majority of what you preach also applies to the rest of the developed Western world. I can personally vouch for Holland. But rest assured this applies just as much in Australia, UK, Canada and Belgium. Ireland, Norway and Denmark. Sweden, New Zealand and Switzerland.

Same in Belgium unless you are tall, at least 6'2" (1m85) : then you will notice some attention from females if you are not too ugly...
