Its hard to explain this to ones mahram. A woman is under the guardianship of her father, what he says is what will go. It's not like us sisters are unaware of this, its that we are under the guardianship of our fathers and they want us to study so we can work and take care of them.

Now I have that mindset but I am in Uni (I study education for primary school) and have to study and work bc my parents want me to to that. Esp my father encouraged me to do this... I am like 2 years in. If I get married now in the near future and quit uni they will be so disappointed in me. My sister already quit and my parents are nagging 24/7 how she is a failure to the family….and she quit 1 month after applying. @@seiji99 exactly, i have recently realised that nurturing a family is far better that being career-oriented. even muslimahs these days do not seem to value homemakers. i ain't buying into that hoodwink. earlier, i had myriad of aspirations but i was pretty far from being pious. however, now my lord have guided me since i have started observing hijab and niqab the right way. i mean i want to study enough to be intellectual. but this corporate culture and free mixing bugs me everytime. may allah grant us righteous spouses who'd value us for what we are.

Hard pill to swallow for many “The best men want young virgins” . That speech may encourage even more overly entitled, cocky teenage bratty bahvior. .. not something the ummah needs! Most certainly the uncle is correct on many points especially on that an aged female won’t give many children. Would uncle comfortably turn to his mother and tell her she is now useless? Could a woman who’s children are older run one of her husbands businesses? Could she apply wisdom learned in life to support her husband through his challenges. … in a manner that khadija did.

This has become an epidemic in kashmir everywhere we use parents sending their daughters to far away countries for MBBS so that society tomorrow can say Aapki baiti doctor ha(your daughter is a doctor) for the sake of praise of community and society they do this How is it allowed when a girls leaves her home and remains in far flung countries for 8+ years without a mahram and and they have no mahram with them to travel back and forth Our society is going more and more towards materialistic tendencies The worst part one can't reason with such parents they will always shut a person down by brining their own rulings and laws

For all those saying we need female doctors in the muslim communities and this speech is toxic; I highly doubt his speech will lead to the scarcity of female doctors sense feminist aspire to be equal to men its inevitable that the kufur women will pursue this career path and occupy this occupation so there really isn't a need for muslimahs to become doctors sense the kufur women will happily sacrifice their lives and happiness in order to serve us you line of arguments isnt very logical just because 1 demographic doesnt pursue a certain occupation doesn't mean others wont, there'll always be someone to do the dirty work. Another point to mention is theres a growing number of average girls with the aspirations of becoming a doctor due to family pressure, alot of the times they only do this not because they want to on the contrary because the family force and brainwash them into it, and being a doctor is no easy task and is a competitive role and most of these sisters take the riba loan(declare war with Allah) just in order to enter a rubbish uni(because they arent smart enough or dont have the finances to enter a better uni) just so they can obtain the qualifications to become a doctor later finding out how competitive the role is and end up working your average job, their youth and fertility sacrificed for nothing and also majority of these sisters commit zina in these unis and end up pregnant with a kafir mans child anyways, or sense they have to travel alone without mahram(haram) by train to reach their uni or live in dorms with kafir men they become exposed to fitnah that inevitably destroy them.

NO ladies’HIJAB found in the Quran. The word HIJAB is used in the Quran but not for ladies. The word is KHIMAR in the Quran24:31 - Root Meaning of KHIMAR is just a COVERING, it can also be a neck scarf, any scarf, dupatta, chadar, etc. There is no head, hair, veil, niqab or any such importance in the Quran, but the EXPLANATIONS of ‘Sect’ /Firqa leaders promoted it - by adding it in books written much later after the Quran AND by adding words with brackets in translations and explanations - AND also these Firqa leaders wrote the Dictionary centuries later to push their meanings - ask them : WHEN and who wrote the Dictionary that they show their meanings from? We should not accept new meanings to the words after the word is used in the Quran - now the meanings can be understood by checking the same word usage within the Quran - see where it is used again. They should know when the same root word is used for intoxicants even then it’s used for COVER - any intoxicant or alcohol COVERS the ability inside the mind - NOTE : it does not cover the hair or outer-head. - transliteration of Quran24.31: “yadribna bi’Khumur’ihinna ala juyoob’ihinna” [Plurals : khumur, juyoob] - The importance is about : *..put forth the Khimars OVER THE JAYBs…* Jayb just means OPENING, - like an opening in a dress, deep-neck, like shirt pocket - is a jayb (or) some people translate it as chest/ bosoms coz that’s where the Jayb is. - *they took the desert clothing that is needed in sand storms and called it religion* How can a religion claiming to be for the whole world - promote desert clothing for far off freezing lands? IF anyone wants TO FOLLOW WORDS OF ALLAH then they should verify with the Quran - coz every secondary source should match with the Quran AND they should not add words in translations. The other verse in the Quran 33.59 is about JILBAB - it’s about wearing loose clothing, where it also says that “they can be RECOGNISED and not harassed” So the condition is to be recognised : how will anyone RECOGNISE if you cover fully - like a tent? - so avoid tight clothing - it’s really simple as per Quran. Some of them will not VERIFY what is in the Quran - word by word. And you may get to see how they will jump to start calling IGNORANT and names to the person showing them the research.

This video has alot of wrong information. In islam women are encouraged to gain knowledge doesn't matter what kind of knowledge and if a sister wants to become a doctor then she should without being told that she should be married by 18. When ever my father takes any of the females of my family to the hospital the first thing he asks is there a female doctor. So if women just decided that we won't become doctors then the men in our religion will be begging for the same thing that this brother preaches against. We women are allowed to study and learn and work in any profession we like with out always being put down by men who have no respect for women in the slightest. A solution to this brothers problem: marry someone who isn't a doctor and keep you opinions to your self.

He's not saying you can't be a doctor and gain knowledge. He's just giving a warning women that if you do that, it will not be a good idea to do so since most women end with a lesser likelihood of the man of their dreams marrying them since she took 7 years studying at uni while not gaining as much Islamic knowledge for the children he would want to raise. It's not that the sheikh has a personal problem, he is simply warning for the betterment of women so they have a happy future of getting the husband they ACTUALLY have wanted all along and not settling for "good enough".
