looks urban awesome. do you ever sneak yourself into the crowd shots a la Alfred Hitchcock? ...and a great musical pairing with these shots. best to you in the New Year!

Ha! The Hot Dog cart. Guy in the red jacket at the beginning of the shot! I was thirsty.

The soundtrack info is in the video description, and part of the credits at the end of the video.

I see your not the only one with a camera out there....Were those guys doing time lapses too in front of the capitol building?

Yea, good eye. They're from the time-lapse group I started a couple months back. It was quite a turn out saturday. Makes shooting in the city a lot more fun.

Did you get kicked off Capitol Hill because of your tripod, yet? Great stuff! Really great!

Thank you my friend! A few tips I've picked up on from the word on the street, and the NPS own website is; stay off the marble, never go beyond the pillars of anything, and absolutly never pitch a tripod anywhere near the White House. About 3 years ago I remember reading an article that the NPS in DC had basically loosened the stranglehold on the use of tripods within their DC jurisdiction. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember that this was good news for anyone pitching a tripod in NPS territory. But so far so good. I see the park service all the time. Even when shooting at the very top step of the Lincoln Memorial with dozens of others with tripods at sunrise, they had nothing to say to us. But I'm still not clear on the exact rules.
