I remember my times fondly, of the times when my friends would rush against the tide. My grandparents too, calmly pushing against it as well. Great video.

Philosopher Kierkegaard once said “The most important thing in life is to find a truth that is true for you, and to find an idea for which you are willing to live and die.” Many have things that they would die for, but to find something to live for is far rarer. In existentialism, one of the pillars of it is Choice. Every action and decision you make is a choice. Victor Frankle said that “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” How you act is the one thing that can’t be taken from you. Nothing is constant but change, and you must ride it like a river. You may use a paddle, an engine or another device to steer, but you must keep riding the river or else you’ll drown. Whether it be choosing to abstain from a decision or not, you make a choice. Always live your life as if you will die at any moment but with the hope that you will live for 20 years.

In 2022 I lost my dad due to cancer, where we live it is not normal to have dinner with the person that passed near, this case was particular since he died december 24th at 8 PM, when almost all of the guest arrived to have the cristmas dinner; while they kept arriving we told them what happen, and after a few minutes, everyone was reunited to say one last goodbye to my dad, it is weird, but while we were having dinner and chatting, the topic of how my dad lived his life came to attention, he was an incredible man, so much that even when he was gone, he was making everyone around him smile and laugh, that became both one of the happiest and saddest christmas I've ever had. Seeing this video made me realised that no matter how you spend your time, if you enjoy and remember the moments that you lived, well, that it is not wasted time. Amazing video. Thank you for the reflection.
