The orange tractor already has a weight fitted. The John Deere hasn't got a front 3 point hitch!

Fantastic! In FS22 weeders were for small weeds and hoes for medium weeds, and there was always an issue with weeding contracts where half the time you would arrive and find the weeds needed the hoe and you only had a weeder, so they way they split the contracts in FS25 should mean that doesn't happen any more. By the way, that was totally Phlinger's weight - your tractor had a built in front weight, but with a trailed implement it is not too important. Phlinger's implement was hanging from his rear 3-point link so he was probably coping with light steering... or crashing even more than normal.

Yer I agree I refuse to buy anything without a three point It annoys me all the monster sized tractors have only a fixed weight So what a saving grace the valtra 1000hp mod IS slightly unrealistic but only for the price being the same price as the standard game tractor with only a 33k Fee to upgrade the engine Now autoload trailers are out I don't have to unwillingly play fork lift SIM lol 🤣

Good morning Jay and Phlinger. A small tip about the fertilizer contracts. Most fields are small to medium in size and the amount of fertilizer used is small so you can do 2 or 3 fertilizer contracts with one load of fertilizer. You are doing a great job keep up the good work.

If you look bottom right when it says fill the implement it will tell you what it wants. That weeder looks like it can also seed. Its a seeder weeder. On that contract you dont want to fill though as you are only getting paid for the weeding.

Lease the equipment from the hoeing contract (Pottinger Rotocare) and use it for weeding contracts as well, it will be much faster than the weeding equipment

Top tip for you good sir if your don't already Only buy fertilizer lime etc from brought silos Like seriously silos almost come before tractors when building a farm up for me You pay next to nothing from an owned silo just incase you have never tried this

Top tips Dont buy any tractor without the thee point atacher And when you have by mistake you can sometimes go to the workshop and customise to add front loader attachment this will help keep weight on the front eheels

@@CinnamonSwirlSquirrel I am curious seeing what you buy when you start a farm I see around the same money I would spend on just grass cutting For example To cut and bail I have seen you using two tractors But You can cut using front and rear mowers with windrow capabilities AND A HITCH I don't remember downloading a mod for the double rear with windrow with hitch so I'm sure it's base game So smallest front mower and a double with hitch for bailer There is also none stop bailing mods that actually are more realistic Many of the bailers on the game have real life options for an additional loading chamber There is a older looking John deer bailer that I have worked with that was a constant bailer so long as the correct speed was used This is the equipment I use after earning more money At the beginning try this Medium tractor not small very little price difference Always buy tractors from the sales Make sure you can at least add three point in place of fixed weights I do like how you can still customise the sales items Go front mower and foraging trailer Cut grass and collect When full go to the field boundary grass and set cruise control at around 8 to 10 mph When at the set speed press dump anywhere button This leaves you with one long windrow that's very tall Put bailer on tractor and set cruise control to 1 mph Have it crawl over the oversized windrow leaving all bails in a much closer area making loading of any kind easier faster and less annoying Later in the game someone can collect grass for the person bailing off field This also means someone can plow and plant while you bailing etc etc The other thing I see you lose out on is your spoils from contracts etc Collect all of the stone and go to debris crusher this is your bonus if you don't collect them all you loose out When you can afford and when they finally pull their fingers out of their rear ends there should have been a stone crusher production for our farms In 22 I brought zero lime and also sold some This is how to look at contracts Specialise Vs working for others So take on cultivation contracts etc etc always remove stone before ending the contract otherwise you left your bonus Add a lime crusher and do lime contacts FOR FREE SAME WITH collecting straw etc from harvesting missions It's yours don't leave it there lol 🤣 Start more Simple With larger tractors Starting with the ones you have been means buying lots of things later in the game and it's so easy to buy the wrong thing They really missed the mark with explanations of what does what etc on 25 For example walk up to equipment it doesn't even tell you it's classification I like matching brands and so park weeders next to small cultivators etc etc There is very little difference between them Why wouldn't they tell me on hovering over a machine what type of machine it is I may sound daft here but I have work on som very large farms in my time Even some farmers can't always what's what when all equipment is from the same brands How much do you tend to start with Would be very intriguing to see if someone with some experience on farming and some varying equipment can help you with a suggested equipment start within that starting budget
