thankuusomuch :) Obviously going to a foreign country is bound to have financial, emotional and cultural challenges. Whenever I do have any issues, I always handle it by unpacking them with close friends and family so that’s been really helpful

As a male who only goes to an only boys school in Kurdistani-Iraq, our classmates fight for fun, our school is basically a mental hospital for unwell children, and I just feel so bad for the teachers. (We are in grade 10 btw).

I'm considering going on exchange year with STS (high school) And it says you need to read + write Hiragana, and Katakana, and Take a language test, is the language test hard? do you need to be fluent? since I'm bad at Japanese. When you applied were you fluent? or is it just the basic Japanese like my name is, I am from, etc? And last do you have your test in English or Japanese? Like can you get good grades without knowing that much Japanese? I'm sorry if I'm asking many questions, hoping for an answer!

This was a one-way exchange where I lived with a host family, but didn’t bring anyone back to my home country. I went to school in Japan with exchange students from all around the world :) STS Worldwide exchange was my program.
