Dear people in the comment section…. you’re Social Security card your physical Social Security card is still a necessary thing especially when applying for jobs public assistance, getting a passport . Any financial transactions, identification purposes, etc. in every day instances you probably don’t need it, but please do your own research and don’t take the word of people on the Internet, who may not have, done the necessary work. you should have in your possession or somewhere at your disposal, your physical Social Security card and your physical birth certificate certified a copy.
