You are a great example for all Hispanic girls who want to get ahead in the USA. I'm from a small town in Mexico, I'm 18 and currently going to college in San Diego. I think it has happened to you to see the contrast between your past and your future, or to see it through your parents. And let me tell u that all that positive contrast in your life has been all thanks to you. I was born in the USA, but I didn’t grow up here, and I hear many comments that everything is easy like that because “ tengo los papeles ”. But it is not only because of that, and I think it has happened to you to hear comments where everything is marked as “easy”. But seeing you traveling achieving your dreams, more than anything seeing what you are as a person is inspiring and the video where you visit your grandparents in Cuba, is so inspiring.
