i love crystal light, the squirty kind, not so much the powder kind. Actually, i'm obsessed with the Wal-mart version that has a flavor called Southern Sweet tea, I drink water all day and it makes it taste like sweet tea, so good! Cute hair cut! You seem not afraid to change it up every so often, that's great! oh and real cheesecake making is difficult! My husband makes them every holiday season and had find just the right recipe and technique to work with our oven (putting a pan of water in there with it etc) before it comes out good each time. but no matter what it looks like, still tastes great!

I'd say it's got The Queen's Gambit vibe~ 😊 Cats can get eye allergy too especially during the time when there are a lot of 拜拜, the smoke from burning incense sticks and joss papers. The air quality can get pretty bad. Keep saline solution handy at home. Before you can get to the vet. You can try rinsing his eyes to relieve some discomfort. Though generally they get pretty pissed at you first😂😂😂

Dumplings is more Chinese tradition. In Taiwan, we don’t usually eat dumplings during the new year. However, hot pot is very common :) besides, there is also Taiwanese lunar new year story which explains why we do those things as traditions. One thing with cats, if you do something once they expect you to keep doing it, possibly improve on it, and if you don’t they get pissed😂🤣😂❤️ Maybe not all cats but mine are like that, I stupidly started playing with them for about 10- 15 min. at bedtime with a toy that has a retractable rod , with fishing line on it and feathers at the end . It looks like a bird flying when you whip it around in the air........then they got bored with that, sitting on the bed looking at me expecting MORE. It’s now lasting about a half hour, starting with treats hidden in their palace built of Cardboard boxes with “ rooms” on two levels and several boxes long, then there are feathers taped on a stick that hides behind doors and behind and under furniture, finishing up with the flying bird toy and sometimes the “ blanket monster” chasing them from under the blanket on the bed so they can attack it.😳 If I don’t....they knock things off tables, race up and down the hall outside my door and even run all over me in my sleep. I sometimes wake up and find one of them sitting right in front of my face staring at me or attacking my feet and hands from atop the blankets. Moral of the story, be careful what you do for your cat, you may live to regret it. Lol It’s good your cat will scratch the cardboard thing, they really save your furniture. Your cheesecake probably tasted yummy, you probably only needed half the cream cheese mix for that size pan, who cares how it looks, taste is all that matters. 👍🏻 Happy New Year, stay safe and well🙋🏼

Many times cats scratch their eye a bit too rough (my Arya sometimes does it). Then it's pink and then closing it partially. I seriously trying get eye to help with her itch without scratching. I watch it, if it doesn't go away, then vet trip.

I had to do a double take on the granola bars. The package looks distinctly like Nature Valley, but the name was Val Nature. Looks like it's the French name of Nature Valley. Costco in Taiwan usually carry a variety pack. Crystal Light is really not available in Taiwan. The closest I think are flavored sparkling water available in a few fruit flavors and honey.

Yeah in Canada everything has French on one side and English one the other!! These genial bars have a chocolate coating on the bottom. I’ll be so happy if Costco has them!!!! Time to take a trip to there !!!!

I love the regular honey oat Nature Valley bars. Sometimes I crumble some of it into yogurt. So good in plain yogurt (I buy Silk soy yogurt).

Chinese New Year is like Christmas, shops are extremely busy before then went very quiet by CNY eve and on the day. The only probable difference is gas station and 7-11 don’t shot down lol hope you had a great one :)

Dumplings are shaped like gold ingots, so they symbolize wealth. And yes, in the old days a coin would be hidden in one of them, whoever got it was supposed to be lucky, have good fortune and be prosperous during the new year. Kind of like the baby hidden in king cake (New Orleans tradition), but not quite as weird IMO eat money not babies LOL!

I make it not the right way lol. McDonald’s french fries, mozzarella cheese, gravy packages my mom sends. I think there is actually a restaurant in my city that makes poutine and it’s owned by a Canadian guy!
