I agree! I'm Thai and as many other country, I've never seen my family going to someone house without food and/or drink and I never saw someone show up at our house without bringing something (or I saw it only one time when the person was invited few minute before she came, and she was already in a taxi). Same when someone is going out , it is like an unspoken rule that you always take something for the others in the house (or at least always in quantity that you can share)! So I feel like there food is used to show that you care about someone. :3

I really like that little chat with the pharmacist down the road from your restaurant. Graduated from Chulalongkorn, worked in Bangkok for 20 years, gave it all up to open a small practice in her hometown and take care of her elderly mother. It's amazing to hear all these human stories, and learn so much if we choose to listen.

Lilly, I found you on here a while ago and watched many videos and was with you and your family and friends as though we were in each other's presence. That is what makes a video stand out from others. I have 5 grown kids and grandchildren and you with your family remind me of my family and when we gather together around the table and share the food we create and or buy to eat.
