I haven't uploaded in far too long (oops!), life has simply been overwhelming. BUT Europe is only 17 days away and the next 365 days are going to be the most insane and life-changing of my entire existence so far SO GET READY!

i love this so much!! please upload more uni vlogs (if you want to ofc), i'm only in grade 10 but have been thinking about going to ucalgary for a while now, i'm especially interested in doing the 5 year b.a. + b.ed program specializing in english language arts. most of the vlogs from uofc students were taken pre-covid too, so i like getting to see what it's like now :) have a nice day

Is this university good for visual arts? Such as drawing anatomy, composition, filmmaking, etc?

I know there are people taking degrees such as film, but I personally am not well-informed on the program. You can look through the classes offered if you search ‘courses’ from the University of Calgary homepage though!

first of all congrats! 1. go wander around the campus and locate your classes before the semester starts to get your bearings. 2. taste test the water from the fountains before committing to filling up the whole water bottle 😂 3. check out the U of C confessions page on instagram to reassure yourself you are not alone in the final’s stress and to keep up on current events! 4. don’t forget to let yourself follow your interests because changing majors is basically a right of passage hahaha good luck!

The Cumming School of Medicine at UofC is one of only 17 (I believe ??) medical programs in Canada! I’m not personally enrolled, but I think it’s the only program that is completed in 3 years instead of 4. More information can be found on their website! :)

what are like the semseter break in university of calgary? is it 4 months in a bachelor programme?

We have a week long ‘reading break’ in both November and February, and the Summer Break runs from approximately the end of April through till the end of August. There are also about 3 weeks of between the Fall and Winter semester, this may be more depending on when your fall final exams are scheduled. Exact semester dates can be found by searching for UCalgary’s Academic Schedule!
