40:53 here’s a tip. I’m a flexi-rod girlie too with hip length hair…Purchase some aloe vera juice. Get a MISTY bottle and LIGHTLY spray your ends before putting on the flexi rod. Your ends wont curl once they lose moisture but aloe vera juice is better than water and more nourishing. Happy new year!

That’s how I keep my curls. I put it in a ponytail by wrapping it around my finger in a bun. By morning it’s a long single curl and then I used my finger and lightly pulled it apart and it’s a head full of curls.

Tip: The big Bantu knot looks better on a fresh silk press. The curls will look beautiful without being too much. I do that every night instead of wrapping my hair at night when I get my 3/4 month silk press. Especially during the first couple days when your hair is too silky to wrap.

Hair is gorgeous…u might need a deeper trim tbh. My hair would do the same thing..look good when it was clean but as soon as it aged a bit it would frizz. I got a professional haircut and shape for my straight hair (that still gave me what i want when i mini twist my hair) and it helped my silk presses last way longer. Now i get my ends dusted every 12 weeks and my rollersets no longer frizz…..
