I think you underestimate how much people enjoy sitting down with a cup of tea and watching "mundane life". I suppose it's like being a 'people watcher' and eating your food at a bay window out of which you are captivated by strangers going about their daily lives. those breeds of dogs are bred in cages, mothers used as machines; who never leave the cage their whole lives. These are ''reputable breeders too btw. there are thousands of dogs in shelters in the uk needing homes, many of which are put down as there are no homes for them, while people keep buying dogs and contributing to animal abuse. Dont breed or buy while shelter pets die. dogs are all amazing no matter what breed or how they look', dogs with the most amazing souls are often found in shelters, unloved and alone. sure they may not have been selectively bred and exploited by breeders to look a certain way for money, and may not be as ''pretty'' but dogs are not ornaments, so how they look shouldn't matter.
