I'm here to attest to buying in bulk even though I only have a household of 4 🙋🏼♀

Yup, family of three here and we buy in bulk. Usually when something is on sale, I pick up a few, and it cycles through my whole pantry throughout the year.

Hey Angela! I’m fairly new to your channel. I found you by doing Azure hauls! Thank you for opening your home to everyone! Our youngest lives in Denver. We have yet to visit (we are in Arkansas) but the photos he sends are beautiful. I have a tip for you that someone may have shared already. Lay a damp kitchen towel or paper towel under your cutting board to keep it from slipping on the granite. It’s been a game changer for me! Hug those babies tight and let them help in the kitchen anytime they ask! One of my identical twin granddaughters has started baking with me. She’s 9. She says it’s so “satisfying” when she kneads the bread dough! 😂 Ps- I’m trying this potato recipe tonight! Looks delicious! Stay blessed & keep the cooking videos coming! You’re doing GREAT!

Welcome, I'm so glad you are here! Love that tip for the cutting board! I love that you get to enjoy time in the kitchen with your granddaughters. You are creating special memories they will always have to look back on! 😊🩷

@@rockymountainhomesteadangela ABSOLUTELY! I lost my Mother about six years ago. The memories I have with her are priceless! I want my kids and grands to have the same type of memories & learn along the way! Thank you again!

#1 when you let children cook they learn to fend for themselves when they leave home. #2 builds confidence and knowledge and makes cooking fun and not a chore. I know a channel with 7 or 8 kids and they all cook. The youngest is 2 he helps not cook but gets to do something. The older girls 11 and 9 I think know what a camber is and can do some canning. Mom is there to assist. Plus they’re homeschooled. Mom just had their last baby. 3 or 4 months old now. There oldest two can even cut stuff with the sharp knife. Like veggies and meat. Again mom is there to assist if need be. Skills. The kids help in the garden and other out door chores. Great video. Your son is too cute.❤

Thank you so much!! I think all of that is so important for kids. There are so many skills to learn before leaving home!

@@rockymountainhomesteadangela You are right. Even if your children don’t cook much as an adult like you do remember, they can if they absolutely have to because you taught them. You are a wonderful mother. Your kids may not thank you now but, someday they will. ( maybe they do thank you for teaching them ) but most time you appreciate your parents more when you are an adult.

Thanks for sharing your meal ideas Angela! Looking forward to seeing what big projects you have in store! Blessings from south TX ❤

I need to look into some of those, I think. I put together meals with jars individually in a pinch, but an all-in-one meal in a jar! I'm going to give that a go. Thank you!! Hope you are having a great weekend! 😊❤️

I have to say you rocked using those silicone tongs when flipping the teriyaki chicken thighs. I quit using mine, because everything slipped out of them. I replaced mine with the metals ones. I like all of my silicone cooking utensils, except the tongs.

HAPPY THURSDAY IN APRIL. Your channel came up on my suggestion. I am a new sub. We live in Pittsburgh PA and I will share your videos TO THE BURGH*STTB. Being the youngest of 10, 5 boys and 5 girls, growing up in the country of Pennsylvania, Our parent's had a hughe garden every year, our mom canned a lot of food. We had homemade food every day and sometimes we went out to eat. Looking forward to watching new and previous videos. Thanks for all the ideas and tips. ENJOY YOUR WEEK.

You are teaching your children 'life skills'... and they are enjoying it. I remember volunteering in my daughter's school 35 years ago. In the staff room, they had a sign on the bulletin board that read...if children can't learn the way we teach...we need to teach the way we can learn. As a homeschooling Mom you have done exactly that. How exciting when the lightbulb goes on...well done.

Nothing wrong with having back ups for back ups. And never know when you’ll need it, and he won’t have the money to buy it. If you can’t get out injured sick , loss of job weather. Etc. I have the two of us now and I have back up and back ups for those too. We grow a garden so we eat produce all growing season and freeze stuff.

I can totally relate! Sometimes I take a night off from cooking and it's nice to take a break and I love to bake for my husband. I also understand the food costs of going out to eat, it's insane for me and my husband we order two things and it's pricey. Healthier to eat at home and you can fix it the way you want. Thanks for the video:)

Which makes cooking which is something i love feel daunting and i end up making the same things each week which is easier for meal planning but i don't want to eat. I need a solution for this problem before i lose my mind lol i only buy staples in bulk some things are not cheaper in bulk.

Do you plant a garden to help with veggies 🥕? Can u grow fruit 🍉 in your area? I’m in central pa. I always wished to grow citrus 🍊. No luck in this area. I’m just amazed at your videos! Been watching since first one. Idk how you do it! I have 2, 10 yrs apart and we did cyber school with my daughter. A lot of tears 😭 all mine bc I couldn’t understand chemistry 🧪 lol 😆 so many labs to do! Omg 😢

Thank you so much!! We do plant vegetables in the greenhouse my husband finished building this year. We were hoping to get fruit trees planted this summer, but he got too tied up with work, and we ran out of time. That will be happening this spring. The high school years of homeschooling, I'm finding more challenging because I feel I can help less. I don't remember learning every single thing they are learning. I put my two older kids on BJU online learning this year for history and science. I have them also on Shormann math online as well. The labs are ridiculous! I'm thankful they are understanding it and passing because I'm not much help anymore for them. 😅
