Yes, but I feel like cooking eggs in an air fryer just doesn't make sense. Same reason you wouldn't cook them in the oven, or a toaster oven. Just do them in a pan, it'll turn out better, and probably be about the same in time and energy consumption.

Why are you puting your food in one drawer then go to drawer 2 and press timer button and what celsus you want it unbelievable. Spray oil on potatoes and use thermometer on meat you will end up with a bad stomach or worse food poisoning.

An improvement on yesterday thank goodness, real food at last although your brekkie really looked disgusterous, as The B.F.G. would have said! Dinner was fine but needs fine tuning. I'm still not sold on that thing but I'm sure you'll make friends with it eventually. I usually steam my veg in an old fashioned two-tier steamer on the hob, cut spuds in quarters then into the first tier and cover, about 5-8 mins later I add fresh carrots and brocolli or whatever fresh veg I have into the second tier and 15-20 mins later everything is cooked perfectly. I only make roast spuds occasionally as a treat. My steamer is less hassle than that Airfryer. Brush steak with a little oil, salt and pepper, then onto a very hot DRY frying pan couple of mins each side, delicious!! Try it.

The air fryer you have is very different from the one my family tried. it had a rotating basket for fries and a rectangle basket for other stuff. both suspended the food in the center and it was essentially a small convection oven. We ended up giving ours away as for 4 people it couldnt make enough of anything at once for a family meal. However for 1 or 2 people they are pretty nice. BASIL IS SO CUTE I LOVE HIM!!

To be fair to Mike these liners look like they've been specifically designed for that air fryer, I wouldn't be surprised if they were even sold with it so I can see why he thinks he's supposed to use them. I hope he re-does this Week On without the liners. He can be a spokesperson for how awful these liners are, not only are they very wasteful both in terms of money and the environment they are also causing energy waste. Those stupid liners are making everything take so much longer to cook than it should and even then giving completely sub-par results.

I have been using air fryers for 22 years..First one was the Tefal air fryer looked like a space ship lol...I use foil on the tray..Foil conducts heat. I part boil my potatoes first..Looks like he had the Temp to high for the potatoes. The liners are a no no. I would never try doing an egg or omlette in an air fryer..2 mins in a pan,so makes no sense to use more electricity. I put my spuds in a bowl..mix with a little olive oil after part boiling..give them a shake then put into the air fryer.

....you do realise not EVERYTHING has to be cooked at 200 degrees right? Play around with cooking things at a lower temperature for a longer time and then if you want something say crispy, then for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking time THEN cook at 200 degrees. You will have such a better time.

I don't use liners in my air fryer, and the underside of stuff still doesn't get massively cooked. Flipping stuff with or without a liner doesn't hurt. Also if you want to keep the oil/juices in - use a liner? Also did Mike say that the ketchup had sex last night?! I may have been hearing things, but i got the joke either way 😂

Your tray has holes in the bottom to allow air to cook from below. Liners block that. You are not using it right. It is supposed to cook from both sides. Also you overload too much. Air is supposed to flow over everything. Seriously you need to redo this week.

nah, you can cook pork roasts (not very big ones obviously) beef joints etc in the air fryer pretty well actually. and if you can get the timing right, it'll come out pretty damn juicy and a nice bark on the outside
