That entire video had me teary-eyed. How is it that those of us who live thousands of miles away become so attached to a dog we will never meet? I worry when you worry, I’m relieved when you are relieved, and feel joy along side you, even when you buy a clothes dryer (it will change your life)! Thank you for sharing with us your days and your most precious Sherpa, and may he continue to live a long, healthy life. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that you have helped us through the last 19 months with a smile.

Panic buying is just crazy! We went into another lockdown a few weeks ago, and the minute it was announced (coming into effect at midnight that night) my workmate rushed off to 5 supermarkets…then still went back every day during lockdown. Him and his wife were often complaining about items being out of stock but they’re also the ones that did things like when they saw their favourite energy drink they’d buy a whole slab..then the next day they’d be at another supermarket, and buy all the cans they had in stock. They fully did not get that they were a huge part of the problem!

🎊 Happy 11th Birthday Sherpa and Bat Dog.🎊🥳🐾 I rarely get coffee at anyone's coffee shop because the prices they charge are ridiculous. I only get coffee during the Fall and winter seasons. I would buy some at certain Gas stations when the weather is cold. I'm glad that Sherpa is all better from having to go to the vet after eating plastic. Please be careful about teeth issues we lost our big guy after a teeth cleaning he was older also, he was a year older than Sherpa.I,m saying lots of prayers for both of you knowing how much you love Sherpa.His name was Kuna he was a malamute mix of some nature. He was a rescue people had him tied to a pole in their yard, knocked on door ask if we could take him as you can guess no problem we had him for 10 loving years.Prayers to Sherpa and you.

I never decorated for my cat. Also born in October, don’t know the date. Got her when she was 1. She would have been 11 this month. She died in August. But Sherpa is still here, and I wish him many more years ! 🥰🐕

You probably already know this about cows, Jamie, but just in case you don’t; and for other dog parents that don’t know either. When cows have young calf’s with them and people walk through fields with dogs where cows and their babies are the mothers will chase dogs. Found this out the hard way with my dog but thankfully she was ok.

Awww poor Sherpa and poor Jamie! Totally understand the panic and concern. Harlowe had a cyst that ruptured through the skin on her neck and there was so much blood and discharge. I think I was more scared and upset than she was. I hate to see her in pain. I braved being in the room with her while they cut it open and drained it. I couldn't bear to have her put under. But now it has healed nicely and we are back to taking wanders! I know you are concerned about the tooth extraction, but it will be OK. Scrambled eggs and some Oratene gel will keep Sherpa comfy until it all heals. But the best medicine of all for both of you is sharing cuddles. You are a team and you are each other's best medicine. Hang in there!

I adopted him from our local humane society 6 years ago. He had never been "put under" while I had him...so I was worried too. But, he's OK.

Nice dryer! Simpler is better when it comes to machines. But manufacturers and stores make it hard to find them. My brother's car is 14 years old, very well-maintained, and free of all computerized distractions. Best of all, it starts with a standard key, instead of an electronic gadget that can be hacked. He calls it his little mule, because it's such a reliable workhorse.

Watching on December 4, 2024 10:29 pm, remembering Sherpa, and supporting Jamie. What an awesome video! A playdate with Nook, and a playdate with Key! I love how Key and Sherps howl at each other, and Nook at the dutch door is so cute! Sad and sweet how Sherpy was waiting for Nook to show up to play in the field. Poor sweet little Sherpy was still a bit low from the Emergency Vet visit.; it was such a relief to hear him talk again and to run.
