I really liked the way you said in the beginning “ we don’t cook separately for each one of them in the house “ 👍 i also trained my boys like that … What I am making they should eat that ….sometimes I will think Am I a rude mother 🧐 now when you said this I am happy 😆because in most of the houses we used to see if there are 3 children and 3 of them wants 3 different food and mothers obviously can’t make them sad so they are preparing and giving . But that should not be a habit. Occasionally ok . It is not possible most of the times especially if mom is working and all ….

The corn in the last part reminded me of my trip to Kerala. Had a very sweet boiled whole corn with some spices sprinkled on it. That was very tasty. Also the trip to Kerala was so so so good. Feel in love with the place as well as the people there. They are so warm and welcoming. It just felt like home. Already planning a second trip.

Thank you so much for sharing one of my golden rules on parenting ( regarding having what is served and not giving multiple choices to select from food for meals) at our home , where our children are brought up. Special credit for mentioning it as your practice with your sons as I was told boys/men are brought up differently 😉 ( you know what I mean ) and I am able to successfully implement this rule just because mine are girls. Thank you for instilling that our children are mostly ma sha Allah what we want /bring them up to be.🙏💓 I have spent a whole 14 years of my teaching career trying to convince the parents the same
