A wet trip to Mangart pass, Slovenia

Today we were hoping to make it to the top of the great Mangart Pass to Mangart Saddle at over 2000mtr. Sadly once again the road was blocked by snow and so the highest we reached was Koča na Mangrtskem sedlu at1906 mtr. Sadly it was wet virtually all day but we still had a great trip

Hello, is it open for cars too? I mean when the road is blocked by snow, where is the nearest possible parking place for cars? Thank you.

It sure is open for cars and plenty places to stop along the way. I'm still not sure if its open to the summit yet though. You also need to pay at the barriers half way up
