I think that’s one of my favourite videos of yours showing those beautiful gardens. And another one for my wish list! I have had a couple of hours stopover in Singapore airport but was jet lagged (as someone else mentioned) so only got to see the green spaces in the airport.

Another great video filled with ideas for my dream trip around the world! Thanks for your pro tip about the observation deck vs. the bar where you can see the pool. I would love to stay there for several days…looks like there would be plenty to do.

Pool doesn’t just drop off, only gives the illusion that it does. There’s a farther ledge beyond that to capture spillover. Or you’d have pool water constantly falling on people below!

You certainly packed a bit in for such a short stop - the gardens look amazing! I spent 48 hours in Singapore en route to Australia (from London). Unfortunately I had mega jet lag and the heat coming from the UK knocked me sideways, which definitely impacted the speed i moved. I did manage dinner at the top of theh Marina Bay Sands (in Spago where you went!), and saw the nightime lights of the gardens etc. I think not having jet lag and being used to the climate from your cruise would help a bit...a great video and you both seem really happy - thanks for the share!

It sounds like you made the most out of your time in Singapore despite the jet lag and the heat-dinner at Spago must have been an amazing view of the city and the lights.Thanks again for watching and for sharing your experience with us!

Hola!!...

@bztravel6 ай бұрын

Those flowers were beautiful. I had to repeat that section. I also had to stop at the sculpture of the two elephants in the horse. All I could think of is someone needs to write a children’s book with the title the horse that thought it was an elephant. I went online and it’s part of the world’s longest sculpture. dozens and dozens of animals. I think those birds found an easier way to do migration then by flying. Thanks for a great tour and stay safe.
@bztravel7 ай бұрын
I love your idea for a children's book-that sculpture definitely sparks the imagination! Those clever birds sure know how to travel in style, don't they? 😄 Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment and for enjoying the tour.

Shame you only had 4 hours in such a beautiful city, however what you did would have been my choice as well. Except I would have had satay with my beer.

It seems like there just is not enough time in some of these ports
@bztravel7 ай бұрын
We've come to realize that the time allocated in each port is based mostly on the time they need to run the tours. That's why sometimes we end up with just 4 hours in one port and a whole 10 hours in another.

It’s great that in most countries that you can use your credit card for the metro but I wonder how to purchase for kids. Ours are 13 and 10, therefore don’t have a card. It’s these situations that I struggle with researching when planning travel. 4 hours is definitely not long enough for Singapore
@wcheebh7 ай бұрын
If you arrive via the airport, then head straight to the airport MRT station where there is a TICKET office that can assist you. You can also purchase tickets at every station using the ticketing machines. kzbin.info/www/bejne/anesY4l_bbVsqsU

You're absolutely right about the challenges of planning for travel, especially when figuring out details like metro tickets for kids. Since we were only in Singapore for a short time, we're not the best source for all the specifics. Hopefully, someone with more experience can chime in on this one. And yes, four hours is definitely not enough to enjoy Singapore! Thanks for bringing up a great point, and safe travels.
