For your waist pain ma'am m, please get a sauna belt, it works wonders, those one that is used a Tommy belt, just plug it and adjust to your desired heat. You will be amazed, my wife used it when she gave birth and had serious pain walking, she will even cry, so she remembered the belt(which she bought when she was trying to lose weight, and wrapped it around her left leg where the pain is, it worked like magic, she can walk without pain now and can sleep on her side unlike be before

Is just simple. Wash and cut then put them in ziplock then put in freezer. Ad long as is in the freezer, it will not spoil
