Almost every Chinese drama, the wife or girlfriend is always portrayed as weak. The mistress or side chick is always portrayed better than the wife. For example..this one crying over a man that cheats on her. Instead of dumping him, she cries and blames herself. Most of the writers for these shows are men, and it's disgusting how they write about women that way. I am a man, and I don't want a weak woman, I want a strong woman.

Tbh with you, most of these writers are women, near 80% of them writers wrote this type of character in every drama and novel. Surprisingly, the male writers gave better female characters as I noticed 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.

Apparently this guy doesn't know what an emotional affair is; he thinks that as long as he doesn't kiss or beyond with the other woman he's blameless and above suspicion. He wants to be the hero for another woman that he sees as more helpless and less stable (she has no family while his girlfriend does) than his current girlfriend who isn't in need of 'saving' so he's gravitating towards the young woman, but acts like the injured party when he consistently and repeatedly puts the young girl before his actual girlfriend. Another case of 'if she was doing the same to you, you would be having a fit and dumping her' plots for the umpteenth time. Why these people (usually men in these drama's, I'm just saying) are incapable of trying to see anyone else's point of view until forced is beyond me! I mean he was literally pulling the girl around the car to avoid her and then they both act like they're supposed to be seen as innocent and can't understand why they're being misunderstood?! Self-centred dumbasses the pair of them!

I havent watched the whole thing but She is doing exactly what she need to be doing. If he wants to run around and play hero with some girl then let him and she will just move on, I know its a ploy to teach him a lesson and if he really loves her then that lesson would be learned or he would just show what his true colors are, where his heart really is and she would be able to let go more easily by acting like this. my opinion anyway.
