I'm a 77 year old Boomer. We lived through the birth and rapid growth of Rock-N-Roll. I can attest to the fact that it was a really wild ride! It was terrific music, and loads of fun.

I'm really enjoying your channel. Thanks for putting all of this together. Perhaps someone already mentioned this in the past, but would it be possible to put the tab on screen while you are playing in the beginning of these lessons as well as over the backing track? I'm sure that would help everyone learn these pieces more efficiently.

Are those flatwound strings on that Gretsch ?? Does that 3/4 size Squire bass stay in tune ?? Is it lightweight ? Can you do a gig with that bass and not sound like an amateur ?
@Damianblf7 ай бұрын
I have the guitar strung with roundwound strings 13-56 gauge. When I got the Mini P Bass it had some intonation issues that I had to address. It's a very lightweight instrument. It's kinda geared towards kids and it's probably not for everyone but it suits my needs. I wanted to get one to give my fingers some relief when I play Bass. I think this entry level bass holds it own and after giving the bass a good setup you could definitely play them out at a show
