I love the Kilkee cliffs. They are so stunning! Yes we all have messy vans for sure. It doesn't stay clean long enough. It's definitely easier if we are at a campsite so we have some outdoor space for our things.

Wow stunning drone footage of your trip. Grab a multi meter. Check voltage at battery before you start then check it again when you have started Fergus. Voltage should increase. If it doesn't your alternator could be the issue. Love your videos guys❤️
@ShaneandAneVanLife7 ай бұрын
I can check my battery Voltage via a Bluetooth before I start and it's always around 12.5V but when I turn it over drops to 9.5V and sometimes even 7V. So it looks like I'll need a new battery 🙄🙄

I would say check you your glow plug circuit.

I definitely think it's the battery that's the problem. Getting a new battery today

You missed an absolute gem by not doing the Conor Pass, it's no problem in a T25. If you were ok on the Slea Head drive, then you'd have been fine on Conor Pass. Next time!

Hi to you both, Great vlog, the wild Atlantic way is now firmly on my to do list, the hight barriers to some of the parking, Are there a lot on the trip? Iv the high top T25 @ 2.6 Mtrs. Keep on smiling.
@ShaneandAneVanLife7 ай бұрын
Hey!! Thanks for watching:) There is a lot of Height barriers around but very manageable to park in places 😊
@QB2ERS2 ай бұрын
Starting out nr Waterford going clockwise around the WAW we encountered very few height bars, alway good parkups. Further noth there are more height bars for sure but still ok, not a big issue. Took us eight weeks, could have done with more time, ran out of time so could'nt do any of NI coast.

Could be your alternator
@ShaneandAneVanLife7 ай бұрын
Alternator does charge the battery. But when I start the engine I can check via a Bluetooth and the battery drops to 9.6V and then after about 2 minutes of driving its reaches about 14V
@_lloffty57 ай бұрын
check for parasitic battery drain shane..!!
@ShaneandAneVanLife7 ай бұрын
After a day if driving the battery will be about 13.5V more or less and the next morning before I start it, it will still be at 13 (ish) V.. when I start she drops to 9.5V
@_lloffty57 ай бұрын
@@ShaneandAneVanLife does it struggle to turn the engine over..could be a cell in the battery not holding charge .a battery can still show as healthy but with a cell down you would get that voltage drop ..!!
@ShaneandAneVanLife7 ай бұрын
After a drive ( a drive that is enough time for the battery to get back up to charge 13.5V) it will start no problem. Or even start the next morning no problem. The problem comes when it's been drive for 10 metres stops and starts again. If ye get me :)
@_lloffty57 ай бұрын
@@ShaneandAneVanLife i would still be suspicious of the battery shane ..any way, hope you get it sorted bud.love watching your adventures with ane and fergus ..!!
