Edit: I know this wont be canon, but its still fun to hope My prediction: Xornoth is back this season and he defeated the dragon in the end as he was found last season. He will be confused about all the rulers looking different and remind them of their past selves. Also, he will greet Scoot by saying "HeLlO BrOtHeR" in a really deep voice then scott turns around slowly and is completely clueless about who the demon is.

I know a lot of people want references to "past lives" with people having flashbacks to the previous season (someone even mentioned the lack of an ender dragon reminded them of the Xornoth storyline) but I kind of hope that when they said this was a new series with new characters, they also meant that the entire plot would be new and different, with "past life" references limited to little Easter eggs if included at all. Scott's finale of the first season wrapped up the Xornoth storyline in a way that felt complete, so I hope this season's central conflict will be focused on something else (something Warden related perhaps?)
