I love how they tout constantly how much we are up year to date to show how great we're doing but when it's used to point out that we could be complacent, they pull out the fact that its only year to date and in reality, we're barely up over a year's time. Just keep it bullish. Always bullish.

I didn't think it was that crazy. It wasn't a 15% drop or anything. Hopefully, they will be soon. I want some good deals! Also, I love how they always use YTD returns, It is not realistic to perfectly time the market, a full year return or multi-year return is a much better comparison.

Now that earning season is almost over, I think other than headlines that is distorting the market from fundamental data, the amount of small caps companies that is pretty abundant is a bit difficult for the market to keep track with. From my analysis thus far, there are 2095+ growth companies listed in both nyse and nasdaq consisting of both small, mid and larga caps. assuming dow and s&p are all mid and large caps and all growth stock (bad assumption I know), that leaves 1500+ growth and small caps. Knowing that market loves growth stocks yet russell 2000 is in correction territory, I am guessing that market is having a hard time keeping track of individual stocks. Still a new analysis, but for now I'm just gonna leave this here.
