As long as you are also covering your neck then Its completely fine. In the hadiths the awrah of a woman is mentioned. The awrah needs to be protected which includes the hair, the neck, the colarbones, and everything to our ankles. This also means no tight clothing. I know it can be hard for reverts and some born muslims struggle with it too so just take your time sweety, Allah knows your heart is in the right place.
