I love how some of these “Fears to Fathom” games are amazing at misleading you in the wrong direction & then completely confusing you between multiple characters. The way the story & dialogue unfold lends you to believe Mike is a red flag (I still think he is) when it turned out to be the “landlord.” Good stuff.

This game did an absolutely excellent job of portraying a woman's plight. Even the way Hollow was careful to pick the phrases that weren't too mean, so as to not antagonize the male characters was on point. I know other women watching could relate to the suspicion and fear in this game, even towards a "friend". Terrifying, but well done.

All jumpscares to that moment was basically the same type: someone appear suddenly near the door. Yet, somehow, they manage to work pretty well. What's more, same trick is used throuoghout other parts of the series. Also with good results. Remarkable.

I just got this game recent;y and started with this story, finished it. I didn't realize you could get a good ending, this was eye opening, because when the guy killed me on the first play through i thought that was it. This is a brilliant and unique game and is not like anything else out there.

This was such a great gameplay. I enjoyed your commentary as well. I can’t even count how many times the jump scares got me. I was suspicious of all of the male characters in this game. This is definitely a very different sort of horror game than any other I've ever seen or played and it's much more terrifying for it. I like how the horror mostly doesn't come from over-the-top scenarios but rather things that could really happen and, really, most of the fear comes from people just crossing social boundaries and stuff.
