this is actually what's really dark about giyu's past. it may be more dark than anyone's. the fact that he wishes for himself to die instead of wishing for makomo, sabito and tsutako to live and for them all to be happy together just shows that he still could never live with them happily knowing he doomed them to their death in reality. it shows that giyu will never accept himself, even if his friends and sister were alive again. in conclusion, giyu angst=perfection
