Tremendous band bought loads of their records including this. They do a great version of 'all the young dudes' . I also loved 'yankee dollar' and 'circus games'

This is a brilliant song and performance, I wish I'd seen the Skids but they were a bit before my time. Its still good to see the band start to get wider recognition in 2006!

What a tune. Filler my arse - and that's not a request. This is the best track on the album (imo)- The Absolute Game btw. Credit also has to go to the work the band put into this performance. Great harmonies while playing intricate riffs - there's still no one like them. Long live the Skids. Stuart Adamsom RIP.

Surely if there was a 'filler' it would be 'out of town'. It doesn't really fit the album vibe and had already been released on the Masquerade double single albeit with a slightly different mix. It sounds like what it is, from the 'Days In Europa' era. I think 'one decree' is a decent album track and sets up Arena nicely. Let's not forget the 'bonus' album 'strength through joy' which contained a couple of great tracks as well. I think if they'd scrapped the concept album and instead put "incident in Algiers" and "filming in Africa" on the 'Absolute Game' album while making room by removing "out of town" it would have been a faultless album. Splitting hairs though, still a masterpiece to this day. Devil's Decade just gets better with age.
