I disagree. These programs are just that, programs. No woman is going to watch these and say oh, I want to be abused like that. There are hundreds of thousands of women being abused every day in real life. This didn't start just because of these movies. It started from a time where women were property, and in many households, it continues to this day. Of course in some countries, women are still second-class citizens. That's just the fact.

Best option..becuase that’s what he did he made the female lead a second option and all she saw was he came back he stabbed hi shelf for me ..he did what most narcissists do over and over…to make the female feel . It was hard to watch this Fl suffer humiliation, abuse, mistreatment and loss to the point of wanting to end it all by walking into deep water. I even teared up when the 2nd Ml saved her! She was in a hopeless situation controlled by threats to do her brother wrong, her need to fulfill the wishes of her evil and needy family, still loving the Ml, and being controlled by the 2nd Ml who claimed he had grown to love her. When her brother died, she had a means of escape, but instead she forgives the Ml.
