I don't know how this ended up on my feed, but I needed it right now. My sister and best friend passed away from suicide two days ago, I've been struggling with unemployment for 7. months, and have been grieving the end of a long-term relationship. It feels like everything is falling apart. But this message just reminded me I am not alone, once again. I am not alone. And it's okay to not be okay. Thank you so much for this creative and compassionate creation. I was genuinely having a bad day today. It got better once I came back home to my family, but it was still one of the worst days I'd had in a while. I was tearing myself apart over my faults, and any time I tried to count my blessings or think about all the good things I'd done, I'd just ruin it myself by thinking I still wasn't good enough or interpreting everyone's actions as being purely against me. Once I returned to my family, I felt way better, but the feelings still lingered. I know they won't go away permanently. But I also know that they will never stay around permanently. We're all in a crummy endless void, but there's always that cozy corner we can come back to. Thank you, Mr. Grub.
