I think it is somewhat accurate to make the Capablanca bot weaker in the opening compared to the other world champions. Maybe not THAT weak, but probably weaker. Capablanca didn’t care much for openings compared with other world champions. He was likely just going to make the position simple and beat you in the middle or endgame (particularly if you were of a similar strength). Also, it would be accurate to make him weaker in the opening because theory was at a different stage than it is now. But who knows how they design these things 😂

I've played vs plenty of the top bots, and lose every time of course, but when doing the game review, these bots rarely hit the high 90s in accuracy leading me to believe that these ratings are more related to blitz then classical ratings. Further proof would be the assigned rating at the end where the review would say that you played at a 3200 level or 2800 level or something like that which is clearly nonsense unless it's talking about blitz which tends to be a couple hundred points higher then most people's classical rating. Seeing the game review on your second match showed accuracy at 82% which is not as you pointed out, 2700 classical level strength. It was probably more like 2300 or 2400 classical. Idk, maybe I'm wrong but that's what I've seen and what I think is happening.
