Well, that feature _does_ exist to allow you to get graveyard biomes in hardcore, after all. (It's a good alternative to bringing in a softcore/mediumcore character to die over and over again to produce tombstones, or sacrificing a whole bunch of hardcore characters.)

Honorific speech will often have a 様 suffix, as in 神様(kami-sama, god). That being said, the choice in speech doesn't allude to respecting the stars, more just that it is respectful language being used for the stars, as seems the case for some things relating to the sky and celestial bodies in Japanese. お日様(o-hi-sama) is "sun", but it's children's language. There are other instances, but I'm not the best at Japanese, and will stop in fear of making a fool of myself!

While シュリケン is written "shi-yu-ri-ke-n", it is pronounced "shu-ri-ke-n". Note the small yu (katakana: ュ), not regular (katakana: ユ). I think the reason the dev sets don’t come from the queen slime bag is because she’s unlocked right at the beginning of hardmode, and you can fight her immediately if you want to. You don’t need a mythril anvil to fight her, but you do need one to craft wings that are as good as or better than dev set wings. You do need a mythril anvil to craft mech summons, so you can already get good wings, which means there’s no reason for dev sets not to drop from the mechs or harder bosses

"Ohoshisama" is made of 3 words, "o" "hoshi" and "sama" (With the kanjis they are written with). The "o" prefix has folklore context and is usually for deities and what not, more literally translating to "great" or "big". "hoshi" means star. And "sama" is a suffix for someone superior to you. So basically it's treating the star like a deity that has descended from the heavens to grace us with their presence. Localised you'd prolly go for something like "O great star" as in "O great star that hath fallen from the sky".

Japanese can use honorifics on things in nature plural or non plural, named places or not. Referring to them like they are a person. Moon, Sun, star, mountain, river. Animals too. You don't have to use it, but It makes it more poetic if you do.
