Not hating on the Mutants but some of them aren't really innocents, Some of them have no problem killing Humans. If everyone on the council decide to exterminate Humanity because how frail and short live they are then they would be going on same genocide as the Eternals.

But If you read the current krakoa books you’d know that all mutants that join Krakoa start anew with a clean slate and are set to follow new mutant laws on Krakoa. One of which is Kill No Man. And for Those who don’t follow are tossed into the pit forever. Plus the whole premise of The powers/house of X and everything after that is to secure a future mutant sovereignty and peace. That’s the whole point of Krakoa. Why would they vote to change that. The whole point is to avoid mutant genocide….!
